Sanitation Support to the underprevileged Minority Hindu Community

Project Details:
Underprevileged Hindus are living in the most backward areas of Khulna district, especially: Kawra community. Their profession is to raise pigs and make a living by doing business. Nice Foundation has been working to improve the living standards of this community since 2005. They live in Arangghata village of Arangghata union in Dighlia upazila of Khulna district. Their sanitation system is very poor. In view of that, with the help of Bangladesh NGO Foundation's special allocation, we have provided 17 very poor families with free semi-pucca latrines.
Objective:
Use of sanitation latrines will reduce disease, increase income and improve the environment.
