Today's Topic - "Evil and Remedy of Child Marriage"
Today on 03.11.24 a monthly meeting was held in Lata village of Dumuria upazila of Khulna district. The meeting was chaired by Lavanya Bala. In the presence of everyone and with the permission of the meeting, the discussion session was started.
Community organizer Israk Jahan said, “Child marriage is very common in our society. Almost our parents marry off their daughters before the age of 18. As a result, many girls' families are ruined. Being a mother at a young age carries many health risks. Malnutrition and increased mortality.”
In this regard, he also said, "We all have to come out of this social degradation and socially everyone has to be aware and socially everyone has to develop resistance. And everyone in the village should be informed about the evils of child marriage”.
